Genealogy Research

We've been doing some genealogy research lately, thanks to a free site called Family Search. We have been pleasantly surprised by a few unexpected discoveries! We already knew we had some nefarious tragedies, and were descended from British loyalists during the revolution. But our middle son was particularly excited to know, we do indeed have ancestors of Viking blood as well as Scottish. Our home schooler is particularly interested in our Italian heritage. Have to do some deeper digging there. Hoping to find a ship's manifest I've seen in the past.
