Snowboarding With Friends!
Jacob had an awesome adventure with his friends during school break. He had never been snowboarding, but he's always open to learning new things. I'll admit it was a little tough for me to let him hop in the car with his friends and head up to a mountain in New Hampshire for the day. LOL. But I never want to inhibit his passion for new adventures and challenges. One of their friends was traveling up with his brother and parents. They assured me that no one would be doing any double black diamond trails, and they'd make sure everyone was safe. So proud that he not only jumped right in to trying something new, but he also bought all of his gear on his own. One of the many benefits of earning his own money is being able to budget for these adventures. He's getting a taste of adult life when you work hard, and make wise decisions, you can also play hard and enjoy the fruits of your labor. Real life financial responsibility mixed in with a whole lot of fun.
